Partner proposal and vision on how to quickly develop a platform that bridges talent and marketers — and is positioned for significant long-term growth.
What it is
We pool our talents and connections and formalize through LLC.
Recruiting LA agencies to the platform through direct contacts at Team One, RPA, TBWA\Chiat\Day, 72andSunny, and The Richards Group. Co-developing the Gen Models brand, including agency and model recruitment materials, social and marketing with creative partner, Steve. Co-developing the Gen Model platform.
Recruiting talent agencies to the platform through industry relationships and supported by promotions/materials created in partnership with Charlie and Steve. Facilitating GenPack creation with onboarded talent. Guide platform licensing fee structure. Co-developing the Gen Models brand. Co-developing the Gen Model platform.
Evolving the Gen Talent technology and platform into Gen Model. Making it production-grade and implementing talent agency-directed custom licensing tiers. Integrating Models.com as a live data source — pulling talent stats, agency updates, career history, and the latest industry news directly into Gen Model talent profiles.
A legal partner at the forefront of right-of-publicity and AI law. Responsible for entity formation, operating agreement, cap table, and vesting; patent assignment and trademark filings; BA-ready talent licensing agreements; biometric privacy compliance; insurance guidance; and ongoing counsel as AI regulation evolves.
Adoption of a likeness licensing platform isn’t a question of if, but when. Anybody can build a platform. Driving adoption on both the agency and talent sides is the real test — and it requires connections.
A simplified roadmap follows.
The biggest obstacle, IMO. The success of a likeness licensing platform is largely dependent on licensing confidence. Finding the right legal partner is critical — someone who can create terms Business Affairs can approve without hesitation. Ensuring the entity is fully operational and adequately insured prior to first transaction.
I believe Gen Talent is close to an MVP and gives Gen Model a technical head start. An infrastructure is built. The work is refinement, simplification and hardening. Removing mobile phone GenPack capture. Integrating Models.com as a live data source — pulling talent stats, agency updates, career history, and the latest industry news directly into Gen Model talent profiles.
Recruiting a handful of talent agencies, onboarding their talent, and uploading GenPacks is what makes Gen Model pitch-ready to marketing agencies. Ensure consistency and quality of GenPack imagery. Assisting with licensing questions and custom tier creation.
First target: Publicis Groupe by way of Team One — PG’s leading luxury branding agency and one of the network’s most profitable shops. Steve and I have a close relationship with CCO Chris Graves and CEO Julie Michaels. Team One adoption clears the path for the broader Publicis network.
Additional contacts: Pete Imwalle (former CEO, RPA); Rob Schwartz (former CEO, TBWA\Chiat\Day NY); Glenn Cole and John Boiler (72andSunny); Terrence Reynolds (The Richards Group); plus multiple independent agency relationships.
Once Gen Model has a working platform with a small selection of talent and marketing agencies onboarded, we pitch for seed funding — with a growth roadmap that includes the creation of Gen Talent. First pitch to original Gen Talent VC — Steve’s connection and friend who is managing partner at Leonard Green & Partners.
Leveraging the success and credibility of Gen Model, we build the Shutterstock to our Getty / Trunk Archive — a royalty-free open marketplace recruiting social creators for more accessible licensing terms. Targeting smaller agencies and independent creative professionals.

This is just my thinking on how together we can develop and own a new category of modern marketing asset creation through our unique collection of perspectives, relationships, and instincts. I’m open to every part of this — the structure, the roles, the roadmap, the business model. But the window is likely the one thing that won’t remain open. Looking forward to talking more.
